Strolling through Bristol you will be forgiven if you haven’t noticed Hotel Duvin, The Sugar House yet. You will find it nestled away in a little corner of the city centre near the bus station. I must have driven past it a thousand times without realising it was even there!
So it was my first time visiting this city centre hotel and restaurant but I Will certainly return in the future. The food was delicious and the venue was just delightful.
I really love that they have converted an old sugar house into such a stylish venue . The building is full of history and the hotel has made great efforts to keep that historic charm and character.
To start we had the French onion soup and the welsh rarebit croquets.
For my main I choose the duck leg and my husband went for the beef
Desserts were all kinds of deliciousness, I opted for the chocolate fondant (my favourite) which was a perfect dessert for any chocoholic (me), the centre just flowing with rich chocolate just as it should.
