Pizza is loved all over the world and this is no exception to the people of Bristol, you guys clearly love a slice of the good stuff, as trendy Pizza places keep popping up all over the city.  Its popularity is really no surprise as pizza can be enjoyed in so many ways, thin and crispy or thick and doughy.  You can have it as meaty as you like or as cheesy as you like.  You may even want to put some (dare I say) controversial pineapple on it. (not me!)

Whatever your pizza guilty pleasure might be, I want to help you indulge!  So check out my top 5 list of places with the best pizza in Bristol.  Let me know what you think, is your favourite on the list??

Bosco pizzeria – Whiteladies Road BS8

This place surpasses all others in their pizza making skills, although this list is not in any particular order, this place is actually my favourite. An authentic Italian pizzeria with a delicious menu to choose from. I really can’t sing their praises enough, the pizzas here are just so damn delicious, you are missing out if you haven’t been yet.

Pi Shop – Lower Guinea Street – BS1

located next door to the Casamia Restaurant on the harbour – if you fancy something a bit unusual on your pizza, this place is where you need to head. Last time I visited here it was over the Christmas period and I had sprout tips on my Christmas themed pizza!  It was actually delicious and a really unique flavour combination. all the pizzas here are cooked beautifully and I take my hat off to these guys for their creativeness.

Flour and Ash –Cheltenham Road BS6

Situated near the arches,  I just love this place.  They produce delicious pizzas from a traditional wood burner. The pizzas have perfect crispy, doughy bases and the topping selection is top notch.  I also think these guys have the best starter menu I’ve seen in a pizza place, I had the confit duck with quince jelly once and it was out of this world delicious.

Berthas pizza– Cumberland Road BS1

You will find this place in the Wapping Wharf, the new Bristol foodie hotspot. There is a lot of hype surrounding this place, and they certainly do not disappoint! Sourdough pizza base combined with unique and delicious toppings, all cooked to perfection in a huge wood burning oven, makes this place is a must for any pizza lover.

Pizzarova – Gloucester Road BS7

These guys are based on Gloucester Rd, although I hear they are also branching out to Wapping Wharf fairly soon.  Light and airy sourdough pizza bases cooked in a traditional wood burner. They have a diverse and unique choice of toppings for their super tasty pizzas, and I love that the menu is always changing, so you are guaranteed a different pizza experience every time you visit.
